Thai Marine Protection Co., Ltd.(TMP) conforms to the U.S. Military Specification, MIL-A-18001K, and GL-Zn1 to produce zinc anode. Special high grade zinc ingot with 99.995% min. and high purity base metals are used to ensure that zinc anode meets the specification of U.S. Military and DNV-GL.TMP is granted approval from DNV-GL for the manufacture of zinc anode.

Zinc anode is primarily intended for corrosion prevention in seawater of steel and aluminium equipment and structures such as ship hulls, sea chests, mooring chains and sea water side of condensers and heat exchangers. Zinc anode provides the lowest driving voltage in comparison with aluminium anode and magnesium anode. Therefore, it does not easily cause overprotection which leads to coating disbondment and hydrogen damage of high strength steel.
